Rosedale is a unique, wheelchair accessible holiday home, offering the ideal escape for families and groups, set in the beautiful Golden Valley area of Herefordshire.
Sleeping up to ten people across 5 bedrooms, Rosedale is the perfect place for family get-togethers, with space for carers to come along too. All rooms are on the ground floor, and step-free. Our most accessible bedroom has a hi lo profiling bed, ensuite wetroom with level access shower, and a toilet with wash/dry functionality (Closomat). This most accessible bedroom and its ensuite wetroom are covered by H-track ceiling hoists if required. Rosedale is set in lovely private gardens, with wheelchair accessible paths, a babbling brook and even a hot tub (with hoist if required).
Set in a lovely village location, there is easy access to a local shop stocking all you would need for a stay, a bistro, a bar with restaurant, a café and a hairdressers, all just ten minutes stroll away (under half a mile).
Other pubs, restaurants, and activities including golf, fishing, paint ball, horse riding and more are just a short drive away.
The area is a huge hit with ramblers, with lots of walking routes right on the doorstep.
Rosedale is situated just 10 miles from the historic town of Hay-On-Wye, the famous town of books and home of the world-renowned Hay Festival.
13 miles from Rosedale, Hereford city boasts several museums, a fully accessible theatre with Changing Places facilities, the stunning Cathedral which houses the ancient medieval Mappa Mundi, and lots of other attractions, shops and cafes.
