Accessibility Equipment
Rosedale is all on one level, extended and designed for powerchair users.
Accessible Bedroom has:
High-low profiling bed (the Arctic Turning Bed from Centrobed - details here) with padded bed rails which can be raised or lowered.
Over-bed table, with tilt top.
Remote control rechargeable colour-change lamp. Can be placed anywhere in the room and operated through a hand held remote control.
Large bean bag.
Raised plug sockets with integrated usb sockets.
H-track ceiling hoist, allowing a single care provider to safely and easily hoist to and from anywhere in the room, as well as into, and out of, the ensuite wetroom.
Level access shower with curved seated perch stool without arm rests, a flat-seated perch stool with arm rests, a commode-style shower chair, and a tilt-in-space shower chair with headrest, which fits over the toilet.
Other types of shower chairs and shower trolleys are available to hire in at an additional cost (see some suggested providers below).
Closomat toilet with option of elbow activated flush, and hand held pad.
Drop-down wall mounted rails either side of the Closomat
Langham steps - ideal for our smaller guests to use as a step, and to use as adjustable footrests.
Height-adjustable sink to suit all wheelchair or standing heights, including small children.
